AVANTI, the newest model rowing shell built in the USA. These boats are designed and built to be fast trainers. Rugged, these boats are built to last. The 4+ has six watertight compartments. A very safe boat. We have incorporated many design features that you will only see in go-fast sail boat (America's Cup) engineering. Our designers worked with the University of Maine at Orono's AEWC Composites Center to quantify the transfer and absorbtion of energy as rowers work through the water. We designed these boats to be stiff in the longitudinal and tortional axis. Our riggers transfer energy to moving the boat through the water, not to deflecting the shape of the hull.

Ribs, be they carbon or wood, cause problems over time. They crush under the nuts and bolds of riggers, water gets in and they soften and degrade.

AVANTI is our new four+. Carbon fiber with an innovative core system. Very stiff and smooth. No ribs.
