It seems that we all know someone who once rowed a Dirigo USA boat at some point in their rowing career. Dirigo USA Racing shells were for years the standard workhorse of rowing teams, big and small. Once the premier US shell, the brand started to be eclipsed by boats making better use of new innovations. There are still many Schoenbrod and DirigoUSA shells in daily use, mostly as trainers, but some are still winning races.
Now that Dirigo USA Racing Shells has ceased operations, the exceptional traits of the boats are being extracted and saved - to be combined with innovations and improved design and construction techniques. Beginning with a midweight four, we are combining the best traits of the Dirigo ZXE, SLX and revolutionary TR-3 to arrive at a new model that is stiff, durable and fast.
We will soon unveil an exciting alternative when choosing a rowing shell. Let us help you make a selection for your college or club rowing team.
